Makeup For Asian Eyes: Useful Tips and Tricks

Makeup For Asian Eyes: Useful Tips and Tricks

Asian eyes are uniquely beautiful with an elongated, sexy shape that is alluring, mysterious and unabashedly exotic (especially when peeping out from beneath a colorful fan). Asian women tend to look gorgeous in eye shadow colors such as shimmery white, charcoal grey, taupe and cobalt blue. If you are Asian with a porcelain, yellow-based skin tone, your color options are endless. Your makeup application, however, requires a little more thought.

Many Asian women try to make their small eyes appear bigger like Caucasian eyes by using eye makeup. I think that is a tremendous effort but not such a good makeup philosophy. Slanted Asian eyes are in fact very charming and exotic-looking. If you were born with them, you should be grateful for such a wonderful blessing nature has given you.

In this article, you will learn how to apply eye makeup for Asian eyes in order to accentuate and draw attention to those slanted little eyes without making them look artificially wider. Keep in mind that these eye makeup tips are not to change what you’ve got, but to enhance them.
Makeup Tip For Asian Eyes

    * When applying eye makeup for Asians, it is always wise to remember that you do have options. Using a combination of eyeliner pencil, liquid eyeliner, and eye shadow will always add definition and sophistication to your eyes. Make the most of these items.
    * There are a number of different shades of blacks and browns so eye makeup for Asian eyes does not have to be plain. Why not try an espresso color, or one that has a glint of sparkle in it.
    * Dramatic eye make up application can include adding a touch of color. Asian eyes look great in shades of plum and raisin.
    * Graduating your eye makeup from your eyelash line to your eyebrow will help to give your eyes more depth. For this to look great, you should use the darkest shade along your eyelash line and merge this into lighter shades of color nearer your eyebrow.
    * Another of our Asian eye makeup tips is creating different eye shapes. When applying eye makeup for Asians you can use dark colors to minimize the shape of the eyes and light colors to make them appear larger.
    * Asian eyes are very versatile when it comes to color accents. You can compliment your brown Asian eyes by using shades of pale pink. You can also accent your eyes by using gold and rust colors.

When it comes to eye make up for Asian eyes you should always remember that for Asians their eyes are the most important feature and special attention should be given to them. When looking at Asian eye makeup tips, you will always see that black mascara and black eyeliner at the best for enhancing your eyes. This is because the mascara and eyeliner that is used in eye makeup for Asian eyes helps to enhance their almond shaped eyes.

Eye shadow can also play an important factor when it comes to Asian eye makeup. Our Asian eye makeup tips for eye shadow are also very simple and easy to follow.

    * When choosing your eye shadow color you will need to look at the amount of fold you have above the eye lid.
    * A lot of fold is essential for dramatic eye makeup and color such as black, deep purple, and navy blue will look stunning especially at night time.
    * Use multi-layering of your eye shadow colors to enhance your look.

As you can see from eye makeup application tips, black is not the only color that you can choose from. There are many ways to create dramatic eye makeup for Asian eyes; all you have to do is experiment.

Loss Your Weight with Health and Taste: Best Nuts for Weight Loss

Loss Your Weight with Health and Taste: Best Nuts for Weight Loss

If you are trying to lose weight, my best advice is to go nuts for nuts. One of the healthiest foods you can eat while pursuing weight loss is nuts. Nuts are high in B vitamins and protein which boost metabolism. Boosting your metabolism is a must when pursuing a weight loss goal.

When working on your weight loss goal, it is important to know which nuts to eat. Almonds, walnuts, cashews, and pecans are all healthy choices. Brazil nuts, hazelnuts, pistachios, and pine nuts are also good choices. Although macadamia nuts have thiamine in them, they are high in fat, so do not include them in your weight loss plan if at all possible. All nuts are a source of the good type of fat you need to stay healthy.
Nuts Nutritional Value

Most slimmers avoid nuts because they are worried about the high calorie content. Some studies suggest they may actually help you lose weight when included as part of a moderate fat, rather than a high-fat diet. This is possibly because people find it easier to stick to a diet that has fewer restrictions. The key is to have just small amounts – and always opt for unsalted varieties.
Best Nuts for Weight Loss

Walnuts

Walnuts are packed with nutrients like fiber, omega-3 fatty acids and protein, which help aid in weight loss. A 1/4 cup serving of walnuts sufficiently meets your recommended daily amount of omega-3 fatty acids. Walnuts also contain 2 g of fiber and 4 g of protein per serving. The omega-3 fatty acids in walnuts help lower bad cholesterol levels and promote a healthier heart.

Misconceptions

All nuts do not promote weight loss. Nuts that have been salted or have added flavorings are higher in calories and sodium. Eating raw and natural nuts will help you reach your weight loss goals. Eat nuts in moderation, because they are high in calories. A half ounce of mixed nuts has about 84 calories. Eat a small handful or serving of nuts to keep calorie consumption low and help you conquer weight loss.

Almonds

Almonds are filled with nutrients and contain fiber, protein and healthy monounsaturated fats, which help with satiety.The City of Hope National Medical Center conducted a 2003 study, published in the “International Journal of Obesity and Related Metabolic Disorders,” that discovered overweight and obese adults had significant weight reduction when they ate an almond-enriched diet. The results showed that there was a 62 percent greater reduction in body mass index and a 56 percent greater decrease in body fat than in those who where not fed an almond-enriched diet.

Cashews

Cashews, like almonds and walnuts, are filled with healthy fats, fiber and protein needed for weight loss. The “American Journal of Clinical Nutrition” found that consumption of nuts like cashews helped lower the risk of obesity and helped with weight control. Cashews are also filled with the minerals magnesium, phosphorus and zinc.
Tips and Advices

    * Make sure you aren’t allergic to nuts
    * Make sure to stick to 1oz portion and not overindulge for optimum weight loss
    * Pre-measure nuts into portion size and keep in zip-lock bags for a quick snack
    * Add nuts to your salads to replace croutons

How To Use Baking Soda for Hair Care

How To Use Baking Soda for Hair Care

Whether to save money, avoid chemicals, live a more natural lifestyle or simply to help ‘difficult’ hair, a number of people are investigating natural methods of haircare. Some choose water-only hair washing, while others opt for herbal haircare or conditioner-only washing. One option which uses common household ingredients is those staples of natural living, baking soda and vinegar, to clean and condition the hair.

History

Sodium bicarbonate is the formal name for what is commonly known as baking soda, bread soda, cooking soda or bicarbonate of soda. According to the Royal Ontario Museum, its use goes all the way back to the ancient Egyptians, who used a mixture consisting mostly of sodium carbonate decahydrate and sodium bicarbonate as a powerful cleansing agent.
Benefits

Baking soda can be used to clarify the hair when mixed with water, shampoo or conditioner. A baking soda hair wash cleans out excess product, removes impurities and cleans your hair better than many expensive products on the market. It is also used for absorbing oils and is therefore ideal when used as a dry shampoo to remove sebum, the oily substance the skin secretes to keep skin and hair moisturized.
The Baking Soda Hair Formula

Other users of the baking soda hair shampoo recipe I’ve heard make their baking soda to water mixture a lot stronger then mine, some baking soda shampoo recipes are almost a thick paste. That’s way to much work for me to have to wash out. I found that the amount of baking soda that I dilute into the water makes the liquid thin enough that I can completely cover my hair with it but it has enough baking soda to get the job done and really clean my hair completely.

The Baking Soda Hair Cleaner Recipe

    * 1/2 cup of baking soda
    * 3 cups of very warm water

Mix the two together just before getting into the shower. I keep a plastic spoon or fork so that I can even mix it while in the shower to get more baking soda in the water and less at the bottom of the container. I mix it in a old cleaned out plastic food container, but a plastic water bottle will work great too. Just be sure to make a new mixture of the baking soda hair cleaner each time you use it.
How To Use Baking Soda Hair Wash

On the days that I do the baking soda hair wash, which is about 4 times a month, I have my container ready to go just before I jump into the shower. Then once my hair is wet in the shower I get in and pour the baking soda hair wash over my head and start massaging it into my hair and scalp.

It’s a weird feeling to get used to at first when you are used to the sudsy feel of shampoo’s. There are no bubbles here and it will actually feel a little grity. Kind of like your pouring baking soda water on your head

I don’t leave it in for long, Once I’m convinced I have cleaned all of my hair and scalp I start washing it out. I take much more time to make sure I have the baking soda hair wash completely out of my hair then with regular shampoo just because I want to make sure there is no powdery residue left. I finish washing the rest of me in the shower and I don’t use a conditioner. I want my hair to dry without any product except my BioSilk Silk Therapy I use while blow drying.

When you rinse out the baking soda hair wash your hair is going to feel squeeky clean. Unlike with shampoos’ that leave product in and your hands glide through your hair. When wet, your hair is going to feel very different. It will feel almost like your fingers don’t want to slide against the hair. It’s a very clean feeling because you will feel that there is no product left on your hair.

Easy and Fast Weight Loss With Grapefruit

Easy and Fast Weight Loss With Grapefruit

Grapefruit has been long known as a great source of nutrients naturally given by the earth. The amazing gift is today studied by the experts and for the result we can see that there are various ways of diet using this fruit. Grapefruit, as called with Citrus Paradisi, was first bred in Barbados. In 1930s an expert called Kelly D. Brownell, PhD then introduced this fruit as a source to help the weight loss in a short period.

Since then, the fruit has been becoming famous in the United States. Today, it is known worldwide to be one of the best natural gifts for weight loss. Grapefruit Weight Loss is popular that it is proven effective when consumed after meal as juice to help the fat burning in the body.

Grapefruits have long been used in various weight loss regimens even before different diet approaches sprouted on internet websites and health magazines. These fruits are famous because of their potential weight loss effects that are considered safe and natural. They have been incorporated on different diet plans and menus that have a common goal, and that is to help dieters and weight watchers lose weight fast.

Drinking grapefruit juice is an alternative if you prefer to drink rather than eat this type of fruit. Here are some researched and studied facts why extracted juices from grapefruits make you lose weight and unwanted fats.
Grapefruit Diet and Medication

Large amounts of grapefruit can interact with a number of medications, potentially causing serious side effects. Grapefruit ‘works’ by inhibiting an enzyme in the intestines that’s responsible for the natural breakdown and absorption of many medications. When the action of this enzyme is blocked, blood levels of these medications increase and this can lead to potentially toxic side effects. If you’re taking any medications you might want to speak to your physician first, before eating lots grapefruit to boost your weight loss.
The Grapefruit Diet Meal Plan

A typical breakfast consists of half of a grapefruit or 8 ounce of grapefruit juice, a cup of tea or black coffee, 2 eggs and 2 slices of bacon. As sugar consumption is restricted on the grapefruit diet, juice, coffee and tea is drunk unsweetened. Lunch and dinner include meat or fish cooked in any way, fresh non-starchy vegetables, black coffee or tea and, of course, half of a grapefruit.  For supper, you can have a cup of vegetable juice such as tomato juice or skim milk.

The diet lasts 10 days followed by 2 days off, which is why it was nicknamed the “10-day, 10-pounds-off diet”. The diet can occasionally last 12 days instead of 10 days.
The Grapefruit Diet Results

The main claim of the grapefruit diet is that it helps to lose up to 10 pounds in 10 days (occasionally that claim is 12 pounds in 12 days). Some variations of the grapefruit diet are not calorie restrictive that is you can eat as much meat, fish and fresh vegetables as you want to. These variations of the grapefruit diet can be considered healthful as you can get enough nutrients from your meals to meet your daily nutritional needs.

If you are not allergic to citruses, grapefruits may be very good for you. They are low in calories, with only 52 calories per half a grapefruit, and high in dietary fiber, vitamin A and vitamin C. The only concern is the high consumption of saturated fat in the diet. The claim that foods high in dietary fat help you burn fat if eaten with grapefruit is not scientifically feasible. You should trim all visible fat from your meat and use olive oil in place of butter when cooking.

Most Effective Weight Loss Tips With Cabbage

Most Effective Weight Loss Tips With Cabbage

The cabbage soup diet is a seven-day, low-fat, high-fiber fad diet that helps you lose up to 10 pounds in just a week. But just like many fad diets, it doesn’t allow for nutrients from all of the basic food groups. You are essentially eating bowls of cabbage soup and fruit, or vegetables and meat on alternating days of the week. Because of the limited allowed foods, this diet can be hard to follow.
Cabbage Diet Plan

    * On day one, you eat two bowls of cabbage soup and as much fruit as you want, except bananas. You can drink unsweetened tea, black coffee, cranberry juice or water.
    * Day two calls for more cabbage soup and low-calorie vegetables with an exception of beans, peas and corn. You can also eat a baked potato with butter.
    * For day three, you eat cabbage soup with a combination of the fruit and vegetables from the previous two days.
    * Day four calls for cabbage soup and up to eight bananas, as well as two glasses of skim milk.
    * Day fiver is cabbage soup, up to 20 ounces of either beef, chicken or fish, up to six fresh tomatoes, and between six and eight glasses of water.
    * The menu for day six is cabbage soup, up to three beef steaks and unlimited vegetables.
    * Day seven includes cabbage soup, 2 cups of brown rice, unsweetened fruit juices and unlimited vegetables.

How Does This Cabbage Soup Diet Recipe Work?

Basically, cabbage soup is a filler meal, and cabbage has one of the least calories while it has plenty of nutrients. Hence, when the person has the cabbage soup diet, the fat burning would result from the fact that the person’s stomach would get filled with the cabbage and kill the hunger. No hunger – no calories. No calories – no fat. No fat – reserve fat burning. This is the chain reaction that it sets.

Hence, in a matter of seven days, a good portion of your fat would have been consumed by the body to provide energy to it, since the cabbage soup diet would not provide it any calories.

Before you run to the kitchen to prepare this wonder cabbage soup diet – take down the recipe for the fastest fat burning diet yet known to work

    * Cabbage cut small – 1 medium size, cut small
    * Onions – 4-6 medium size, minced
    * Tomatoes – 2-4 small size, diced
    * Green peppers – 1-2 small, minced
    * Celery – ½ a cup minced
    * Cube of Maggie chicken – for flavor if so wanted
    * Onion soup mix – for thickness (optional)
    * Pepper/salt/ parsley/garlic powder, etc for garnishing

You will need to adopt this cabbage soup diet in combination with fruits and vegetables of your preference. Exclude bananas from your list of fruits for the first four days, since these are heavy on calories. On day 5 you could include a little meat in your diet (choose from chicken or beef – no pork) and tomatoes. Day 6 and 7 should have rice along with the soup and meat accompanying the soup.
